I am a working professional artist with my studio in Flourtown. I work with schools as well as private institutions with the goal of establishing or working within artist residency programs.
ARTIST RESIDENCIES}
I can and have taught workshops on many subjects, Printmaking, painting, collage, mixed media, and murals to name a few.
I have exchange projects in printmaking, and mural installation projects ready for immediate placement in any institution.
I have letters of reference, press releases, cr-164 report, and PA child abuse clearance available upon request.
I also give private instruction in Acv Studio to serious minded young budding artists who are looking to expand their drawing, painting, and printmaking abilities. I enjoy working with these individuals to help them find their own voice through their work. Honing their skills and in some cases developing a portfolio for entrance to an art school of their choosing.
PRIVATE INSTRUCTION}
I teach private art instruction in Acv Studio to several middle school and high school students. My philosphy is that one is born with talent and I can not teach someone to draw or paint only hone their skills by teaching them to draw, paint, and or sculpt. What I do is to teach them to see, truly see, and to draw, paint, and or sculpt what that is instead of what they think they see. I believe that this is one of the most important aspects of teaching that an art teacher can give their students...vision.
