Portfolio of Works

This collection contains paintings and works on paper. There is a combination of images created from Dance and Music. Most include matting and framing unless otherwise stipulated. The framing is a simple metal bronze frame which complements the mixed media on paper pieces. The paintings are framed with handpainted gold or silver leaf frames. Most are shown with the painting as the frames are an integral part of the piece. 

These images were created from drawings made while attending performances, classes and rehearsals. Many of the drawings were created  while I sat in the audiences in complete darkness. It has become an addictive form of inspiration for me. Once the drawings are complete, I either import them into my computer, add textures, colors and layers to create digital collages.  It is an exciting new process for me.I have been fortunate to be an invited artist in residence at Swarthmore College's performing arts center and Eastern University which have provided me with much of my material.

PRINTS: All prints in this collection were hand printed by the artist, Anthe on her own press or by hand with the exception of the digital collage prints.  Most include matting and framing unless otherwise stipulated. The framing is a simple metal bronze frame.
